Berlin Cocktail Tour

Stefanie Wiese acts our guide and takes us from some of the established cocktail venues in West Berlin, to the newer clubs in East Berlin. Her first stop is at the speakeasy, Green Door, where a limited number of patrons get to taste their drinks, except for us. Next she visits Salut, Victoria Bar, and Windhorst for some finely crafted cocktails containing ingredients as chocolate, pear brandy, elderflower syrup and lemongrass cordial. Then is off to east Berlin’s Reingold to sample a drink made of fig marmalade, rum, tea, ginger liqueur and lemon juice. If that’s not exotic enough, they have their kentucky mint punch as backup. Her last stop is at Rum Trader. A bar where Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond was a regular patron, and where the famous Vesper Martini was born.
